Description
A stepped terrace of eight cottages now four with two cottages to each step. Late Cl9. Of coursed gritstone blocks, with ashlar dressings, end and inter- mediate ridge chimneys and welsh slated roofs. Each cottage formerly a single bay, two storey unit, with stacked 2-light flush mullioned windows, and a flanking doorway with massive surround and a planked door. Some cottages have been combined into two-bay units, and two doorways have been blocked to form additional window openings.
