Description
Farmhouse. Mid C18. Regularly coursed gritstone with quoins, coped gables with moulded kneelers, gable end stacks, one of ashlar, others of blue brick. Stone slated roofs, repaired in part with plain tile. Irregular "T" plan house, with lower bay added to south end, and lower two storey range to rear. East range, east elevation. Three bay range of three storeys with stacked 2-light flush mullioned windows flanking a central doorway, now enclosed by C20 lean-to porch of glass and timber. Above doorway, stacked single-light openings with flush surrounds. Sash windows with single glazing bars and some fixed lights, together with some C20 replacement joinery. Lower end bay has stairway to first floor doorway in the gable.
