Description
Non-comformist chapel. Dated 1841. Ashlar and coursed squared gritstone with ashlar front, quoins and hipped slate roof behind pediment. South west elevation with tall semi-circular headed blind recesses, with keyblocks to arch heads, and impost blocks to projecting stone surrounds. Central doorway with semi-circular head incorporating intersecting glazing bars. Double doors, each of two panels. Pediment with moulded cornice and coping, and within apex, a stone plaque inscribed 'Congregational Chapel 1841'. Side wall windows with semi-circular arched heads and cast iron window frames with intersecting glazing bars to window heads.
