PARISH OF TWYFORD AND STENSON STENSON LANE, TWYFORD SK 32 NW 3/110 (East Side) Old Hall Farmhouse GV II
Farmhouse. Early C19 incorporating C16 features. Red brick, plain tile roof with brick gable stacks. Dentil eaves cornice. Two storeys. South elevation of three bays. Central C20 doorway flanked by 3-light casements under segmental arches. A C20 2-light casement above, flanked by 3-light casements, all under timber lintels. The interior has exposed beams and an impressive C16 stud partition, close studded, with large timber and with, at first floor level, a blocked segment headed doorway. Probably re-used remains of the partly demolished C16 Twyford Hall.
