Full Description

This workshop was formerly a non-conformist chapel. It is dated to 1853. It is built of regularly-coursed, squared gritstone, with plain gables and a concrete tiled roof. The south-east elevation is of two storeys, with a central doorway and stacked flanking cast iron windows that have semi-circular arched heads with radiating glazing bars. There are semi-circular arched heads with projecting keyblocks to the window openings. The doorway has double two-panel doors, with a semi-circular fanlight and radiating glazing bars above, beneath a segmental-arched head, with a projecting keyblock. The side wall windows are taller versions of those to the front. (1)
