Full Description
A Grade II listed warehouse erected between 1802 and 1834, and originally a warehouse for the domestic framework knitting industry. Built of ashlar with moulded cornices to pedimented gable ends, the three-storey building has a symmetrical façade with twenty-one sash-windows (with glazing bars) per storey, the centre five advanced. There is an eaves band and a blocking course, bands at the 1st and 2nd floor sills, and a centre pedimented stone porch. The interior is said to have a good staircase. (1)
