Full Description
A small Grade II listed two-storey house, earlier to mid 19th century (shown on the 1844 Tithe map), and formerly a lodge to Jedidiah Strutt's house (Bridge Hill House) now demolished. Built of coursed stone with a corbelled stone band between the ground and first floors, wide bracketed eaves and large centre and end stone chimneys. The gable end faces south downhill and has a three-light casement window on each floor with stone mullions and dripstone moulds above. A western stone porch has a band carried round as a cornice and a blocking course above. The western facade has two small gables. (1)
