Full Description
A Grade II listed pair of late 18th century gate piers, constructed of ashlar gritstone and square in plan, each pier with V-shaped rustication above a plain base, a fluted frieze with central patera to each face, and a moulded projecting cap, without a finial. They hold ornamental cast iron gates with urn finials to the hinge bar and an intermediate cross-rail, and with spear heads to remaining railings. (1)
