Full Description

A Grade II listed pair of late 18th century gate piers. Constructed with ashlar gritstone, square in plan, each pier with 'V' shaped rustication above a plain base, a fluted frieze with central patera to each face and a moulded projecting cap, with a shallow pyramidal top. They hold ornamental cast iron gates with urn finials to the hinge bar and intermediate crossrail and spear heads to the remaining railings. (1)
