Full Description

Four coursed stone Grade II, late 18th or early 19th century terraced houses, of three storeys each, stepped down the hillside. The houses have tiled roofs and red brick end chimneys. The end houses have two windows to each storey, the centre houses have one window to each storey. The top floors generally have sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor of No. 38 has an early 19th century shop front with pilasters cornice, frieze and architrave. No. 40 has double wooden doors, and the doors generally have plain fanlights and stone steps. (1)
