Full Description

A Grade II listed cottage of the late 18th or early 19th century. Built of coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings, the two storey cottage has a plain tile roof with stone coped gables and brick gable chimney-stacks. The three-bay south elevation has an off-centre doorway with stone lintel and massive quoins, and a 20th century half-glazed door. To the right there is a two-light square section flush mullion window with small pane metal casement window. To the left a similar single-light window and to the left again an early 19th century metal casement window under a stone lintel. The first floor has three windows matching those below. (1)
