Full Description

A series of fish ponds and associated water management features, such as sluices, weirs and a power house, are visible along Brailsford Brook on the 3rd edition 25" OS map of the early 20th century. They do not appear on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of c. 1900. (1, 2) They are still extant on modern mapping [2016]. (3)
