Full Description
Walton, near Chesterfield, is listed as the find spot of Samian sherds. They were once in the Brampton Museum at Chesterfield but are now in Derby Museum. (1) "Romano-British ? Potsherds from Walton area need investigating and verifying." (2) Derby Museum has no knowledge of these sherds and Mr S O KAY, our Hon. Corr., knows nothing more of them. (3) Additional sources.
