Full Description

A Neolithic macehead of sandstone with hour-glass perforation was found in Ockbrook parish. The macehead, which was 13cm. long was presented to T. Bateman by J.J. Briggs on 17th Feb 1851 (Bateman No. G362). The find is in Sheffield City Museum (J93-17). (1,2,3)
