Full Description

Probable earthwork ridge and furrow of medieval date seen as a fragmenatary random, curvilinear ridge and furrow system, with 'blocks' of on average 160m by 90m. Mapped using good quality aerial photographs. Centred at SK 2196 1770. (1) The ridge and furrow east and south of Walton survives well in pasture.
