Full Description

Canal lock constructed 1792 by William Jessop and Benjamin Outram from coursed squared stone. It is a long stone basin with ashlar copings. There are indents to either end for housing and gates, which are missing. This is one of the few remaining locks on the eastern end of the Cromford Canal. (1)
